Authors of original work in the technical areas of interest are encourages to submit between 2 and 4 pages paper of their work through the electronic submission system available at the conference website
Two Ulrich L. Rohde Awards for the Best Innovative Papers
Paper Submission Deadlines
1 August 2016 for Regular Sessions (EXTENDED TO 15 AUGUST)
15 August 2016 for Special Sessions
Author Instructions and Submission Guidelines
All paper submissions must be received in PDF format via this Web site on or before Monday, August 15th for All Sessions. Only electronic submissions in PDF format will be accepted. Instructions, templates, and format examples are provided below.
Full papers (minimum two pages, maximum four pages) will to be published in the USB key Conference proceedings and included in IEEE Xplore. Full papers will be further reviewed before inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Additionally, papers will be included only if the corresponding author of the accepted final paper signs and submits an IEEE Conference copyright release form.
Paper Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit contributions for review and consideration for presentation in the 2016 IEEE Conference on Antenna Measurements & Applications (CAMA) on topics of interest, including advances and innovations related to antenna measurements in controlled and non-controlled (in-situ) environments, Antenna testing, electromagnetic measurement techniques including systems considerations, and all relationships of these areas to applications such as electromagnetic metrology, scattering and diffraction measurements, radar measurements, terrestrial and space-based communications including wireless, mobile, satellite and telecommunications, multi-antenna systems, transmitting and receiving antennas, electromagnetic systems, microwave, millimeter-wave and sub-millimeter techniques and technology, RFID, Inverse and imaging techniques, industry applications, biomedical and medical applications, civil engineering, geophysical measurement techniques, homeland security, etc.
Papers will be selected for presentation in either oral (regular or special) sessions or poster sessions.
The language of the Conference is English.
The contributions are formatted as a summary paper with a maximum length of 4 pages but not less than two pages.
Please do not include page numbers on submitted documents. Please see the specific instructions below for more information. Submissions must meet IEEE Xplore® specifications, including embedding of all fonts in the PDF file (please see « Steps for Submission » below for more information). Only designated contact author(s) will receive an (automated) acknowledgement of the submission.
At the time of submission you will be asked to identify a primary topic (required) from the topic list. A secondary topic could be also provided if necessary. The identification of a secondary topic in addition to a primary one will help ensure that your paper, if accepted, is assigned to the most appropriate session for presentation. Address all correspondences, including inquiries concerning papers, abstracts, technical program, and copyright forms, to Christian Pichot, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Additional Instructions for Authors
All papers for the 2016 IEEE Conference on Antenna Measurements & Applications (CAMA) must be submitted in the IEEE standard two-column format. Papers cannot exceed four pages in length, including text, references, and figures, but not less than two pages. The introduction of the paper should clearly indicate the unique aspects of the submission and how it relates to previous work.
Two-column, two-page templates:zip file containing MS Word Template and PDF Generated from MS Word file
A signed (electronically) IEEE copyright form must accompany all submissions. Papers submitted without copyright forms will be rejected.
Instructions for electronically signing and submitting copyright forms can be found under « Steps for Submission » below. Please note that the 2016 IEEE CAMA reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from the proceedings submitted to IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
Papers or abstracts for the special sessions must comply with all submission requirements and instructions for authors, including the submission deadline. Authors of papers in special sessions are required to make sure they select the appropriate name of the special session during the submission process.
Papers for special session must follow the same format as regular sessions. Questions on special sessions should be directed to Christian Pichot at email@example.com.
PDF Generation and/or Compliance Checking
2016 IEEE Conference on Antenna Measurements & Applications (CAMA) has registered for use of the IEEE PDF eXpress™ system. IEEE PDF eXpress™ is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore-compatibility (PDF Check function). The IEEE PDF eXpress™ can take your source files (doc, dvi, etc.) and create a PDF that meets IEEE’s guidelines.
It can also check an already available PDF file for IEEE compliance. It is important to note that PDF eXpress can convert a source file into a PDF file, but you must still submit the converted PDF file to this AP-S submission Web site (see step 5 on the « Steps for Submission »).
The IEEE Xplore® requirements for PDF provide a unified and consistent format for the IEEE electronic archives, and have been in effect since 2005. All conference articles submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®, which is the case of this conference, must adhere to the IEEE Xplore® PDF specification for compatibility.
Steps for Submission
Create your manuscript.
Proofread and check layout of manuscript (it is highly recommended that you do this BEFORE going to IEEE PDF eXpress). Optionally create an IEEE PDF eXpress account at IEEE PDF eXpress TM site. Please use the Conference ID: 39097X Upload the source file for Conversion, and/or PDF for Checking.
Optionally use the IEEE PDF eXpress web site to generate an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF. The site contains instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support.
Submit the final IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF via the appropriate link below:
Submit NEW submissions at www.aps-ursi.org/cama.
Submit a REVISION or UPDATE to an EXISTING submission at www.aps-ursi.org/cama
A copyright form will be created for authors and provided at the end of the paper upload process.
A computer generated E-mail is immediately sent to the submitting author to provide feedback on a successful submission.
Papers that are not presented at the conference (no-show papers) will be excluded from distribution on IEEE Xplore.
